Hello world, or at least it feels like that. It has been decades since I published something on any of my many web portals. Unfortunately I lack the focus on finding and sharing inspiration while juggling my professional and family life. I want to though, doesn't that count?

It strikes me how I only visit this blog every now and again, but always get the same feeling when I do. That little voice inside my head saying "I really want to start posting again". But then a furious battle goes on in my brain. How could I possibly find time to do so? Who would I disappoint if I don't? What would be the consequences and what would fall through the cracks in my personal life if I commit to write regular articles and such? Then I have to remind myself that It's not that serious.

So here it is, the first post in years, and probably the last one before I get back into it.
Hello world.

Here is a photo of my wife to celebrate this event.

This is a brand for a furniture designer. I really wanted to emphasize on the ampersand as it is a merge between to minds in conceptualization. Orsa (bear) is for Orsini and Ragin (wise advice) is for Ramirez. :)

I really need to post more often. I could go off with excuses about why I haven't posted anything, but realistically I haven't been producing as much as I'd like to. New projects are on the way, new mediums to explore, new goals to be achieved and many miles to walk. I really don't even know if I am going to keep this blog, but for what is worth, I will try to stay in touch.

Celebrating 20 years of creative greatness with Photoshop. The truth is that I started using the program really late, on their Photoshop 7.0 release. Since then, I have used all versions of the program. It is great, however, to read about the features and when they were released. Follow the link to read more.

Here's a look at what I've been producing lately. This was created for our studio open house on the Fat Village in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We had a really successful night with a lot of visits to the studio and great music.

So... what to do for this Art Basel in Miami? How about more than 150 artists, music, live painting, body painting among other things under 1 roof for 12 hours straight? That sounds like a plan for me... Plus, I designed the flyer, so... yeah. See you all there! Oh! And due to some technical issues, the opening is actually not on the 3rd, but tomorrow Dec 4th.

Syfy Brand Idents Compilation from Proud Creative on Vimeo.

For a while, I had been wanting to know who was behind the re–branding of TV channel Syfy (or Sci Fi as it was previously known). Today I finally decided to do research on it, and came across the responsible creative minds: Proud Creative. Their work is inspiring, and it represents where I want to be some day as a designer. Enjoy.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!

Faktorhaus is currently working on the branding development for FineVision Studios. FineVision is a group that dedicates to photography and video production. Faktorhaus has been assigned to develop their identity to then concentrate on their web presence. Check back later on to see the finalized concepts, along with printed collateral material and the finished website.
