Josef Muller-Brockmann is a really influential graphic artist. I did a lot of research trying to look specifically for one of his posters online, one that he designed for Beethoven's appearance at the Zurich on 1955. To my surprise, at imagenow.ie, I not only found a decent sized shot of the poster, but also a view of the production drawing he used to create the poster.
I have great admiration for the graphic artists in the 20th century. They were the pioneers, and all the knowledge we have available today, is mostly because of them. Also, on Blanka.co.uk, they have a nice gallery with his work with detail shots and also they have prints from a lot of other artists, and some are for sale!
This is a new poster that I decided to work on today. The idea has been working in the back of my head for a while now. If anybody is interested in a print of this please contact me. Available up to 20x30 on any kind of stock.
